A metal heat treatment process that changes the mechanical properties of the surface layer by heating and cooling the surface of the steel part. Surface quenching is the main content of surface heat treatment. Its purpose is to obtain a high hardness surface layer and favorable internal stress distribution to improve the wear resistance and fatigue resistance of the workpiece.
The heat treatment performed only on the surface of the workpiece is called surface heat treatment.
From the big point of view, surface heat treatment is divided into two categories: surface quenching and surface chemical heat treatment.
Commonly used surface quenching methods are: flame heating surface quenching, contact electric heating surface quenching, induction heating surface quenching and so on.
Commonly used surface chemical heat treatment methods are: carburizing, nitriding, carbonitriding, boronizing, chromizing, copperizing, etc.
(1) Auto-aligning ability
The DF (45-°45)° combination from the arc groove can be absorbed by the inside of the linear rail slider even if the mounting surface is somewhat deviated by the elastic deformation of the steel ball and the transfer of the contact point during installation. Produces the effect of automatic centering ability and obtains high precision and stable smooth movement.
(2) Interchangeable
Due to the strict control of the manufacturing accuracy, the linear guide rail size can be maintained within a certain level, and the slider has a retainer design to prevent the steel ball from falling off. Therefore, some series of precision are interchangeable. Customers can order guide rails or The sliding block can also be stored separately from the guide rail and the sliding block to reduce storage space.
(3) High rigidity in all directions
The use of four-row arc grooves and a 45-degree contact angle of four rows of steel balls allows the steel balls to achieve an ideal two-point contact structure, which can bear the load from the up and down and left and right directions; preload can be applied when necessary to increase rigidity.
